There are those of you who would strive for perfection and would expect to attain that perfection immediately. You then give up or walk away because you cannot do something the way that you would like or because you discover that it is more difficult than you thought it would be. However, this is material perfection to satisfy the needs of the ego and bears no resemblance at all to the spiritual perfection that all souls strive to achieve in their journey back to the light and the end of that phase of their journey. It is impossible for this type of perfection to be achieved whilst in your mortal state - for if you had achieved spiritual perfection you would have no further use for the mortal frame in which you find yourself, or indeed for the lessons that can only be learnt whilst on the Earth plane - for if you had attained perfection what else is there to learn? In reality the lessons are always there and learning and progressing continue after perfection is attained because perfection must be maintained and there will always be new things to learn from others. It is merely learning on a new and very different level, one that is beyond the comprehension of those of us still striving for that spiritual perfection. It is by your imperfection at this time that you will be able to progress; if you did not make mistakes or what you would perceive to be 'bad decisions' you would not learn. You would therefore remain static and your vitality - that which drives you - would fade and stagnate. Worry not about being perfect, for perfection is not expected of you at this time, and indeed your perception of the meaning of perfection is distorted by the worldly views that you currently hold. Instead, be sure to put your unreasonable expectations of yourself to one side and live life to the full, step by step and day by day. Make decisions according to how you feel - do what you feel to be right whether you would perceive it as 'perfect' or not. Sometimes even a 'wrong' decision can be a right one, and we are always here to support you as you learn. This, my friends, is the way - the only way - to perfection and is ultimately the route home.
