If you were to sit for a while in the quiet peacefulness of a garden or secluded park and wait... and watch... you would find that life continues around you and can be encapsulated into that moment in time as you sit and watch. Truly observe what you are seeing and watch life as it unfolds around you - you are the audience to the most important play of all time, and yet you also have the role of director and lead actor. As you are sitting, silently watching, listen closely and you will hear the progress of life as it passes by. You can hear the bees as they hurry along their way - the conversations of the birds in the trees and if you were to listen hard enough you would also hear the gentleness and the soft sounds of the plants - the trees and the flowers all around you - as they grow. For they are growing even as you sit there. And as you sit and observe, and absorb all that you see, you too are growing with them. Observe every detail of everything and miss nothing. You can be sure that what you are observing is also watching you. As you are sitting and watching, feel life. Feel the small breeze as it plays around you, moving from place to place. Imagine what the breeze could tell you if it only had a voice, but listen to its whispers anyway. Feel the warmth of the sun on your face and your back as it lights your way. Feel the coolness of the raindrops as they provide their life source. Marvel at the softness of the grass and the earth beneath you, providing nature's cushion just for you to sit on and walk upon. Smell the beauty of life in the flowers around you; in the freshly cut grass; in the clarity of the water - allow life's heady fragrance to envelope you, lifting you. Taste life and swallow all that you can see and hear and touch and smell. Savour the bitter as well as the sweet, knowing that there is within each taste a balance of both to give you the perfect gastronomical experience of the banquet of life. So as you sit, draw it in. Life is not, as you might think, passing you by as you sit; it is instead around you and within you as you take the time to watch and observe. For in that moment of observation you will have learnt a thousand things, taken in so many different aspects of life in those few moments. As you have been sitting, something has been born and given life - something else has passed on in to the next phase of existence to make the space for the other to fill. Life is never ending and is happening around you tirelessly. By watching closely and observing you can see better the role you should take on your life's path to best compliment the roles of everything and everyone else around you. So watch, listen, touch, taste, and smell life. Allow all of your senses to drink in that which is all around you - not only in that peaceful moment in the garden or park but in every moment of your journey along life's path; wherever you may be.

'Til we meet again...
