Often the question is raised as to why guides and helpers are always 'exotic' people such as Native Americans; Egyptians; Chinese and so on. It is asked why they never seem to be 'ordinary' people. To this I would reply that we are 'ordinary' people. We have seen many lifetimes and we have travelled a great distance along the spiritual pathway. We are not infallible, but we are perhaps a little way further on than you and can therefore guide you, as the scenery along the way is more familiar to us. The form we take is not important - we ourselves have no use for physical form. However, we are better able to speak to you and guide you if our form is one that is within your comprehension. Your comprehension of those that you would consider wise intellectually, and spiritually, is made up from the perceptions that you pick up from reading history books or by otherwise learning about other cultures. So this is the form that we take - one form chosen from many physical forms. Those of us who guide several of you may appear to one person as apparently a Native American, but to another we might appear Chinese. Such is the 'slot' we find ourselves in. We do not mind this as it helps us to be more easily recognised more quickly; a necessity when we are working with those who take the path of mediumship, for example, because many spirits will draw close during the course of his or her work and we can therefore be recognised as a guide and helper more easily. This of course applies to the beginning of our work together. Once we have been working together for a while, the medium will 'know' we are there without 'looking' since he or she will recognise our individual vibration. Therefore at that point physical form is no longer required. However, the form that we took in the beginning will remain in the medium's mind so that we continue to appear as a Native American or a nun, whichever image was taken originally. If we did not take on a physical form it would be beyond your comprehension for us to communicate with each other - for we have no use for language either. In order to effectively guide and teach we have to learn to communicate with you as much as you have to learn to hear us. We are pure energy - we are of pure light and pure love. This purity - the purity of the energy, the light, and the love is just beyond your reach as you are now. There are those who can almost comprehend it all, and who have a better understanding of what this means, but comprehension will not be complete before you return to spirit because such an energy and such purity do not exist on the Earth plane - they are of a higher vibration, which will lie dormant within you until you return and until you no longer have use for the physical form, which you also chose, and in which you currently find yourself.
