You often ask are we all the same? The answer is no – we are progressing at different rates just as you are. Some of us have much to learn, others less, but we are, like you, always learning – whatever stage of attainment we have reached. We learn in the same way as you – in the main – watching and observing our fellow here or on the Earth plane. As the Earth progresses and evolves with new discoveries and technologies, so we have more to learn. Each period of learning is new and exciting. So as much as we are teaching you, so you are teaching us. We cannot possibly know all the answers otherwise there would be no point in existence. It is not all hard work. With enough imagination and humour the lessons can often be enjoyed. We do not sit down and laboriously study a set subject as children do at school. Learning is progressive and unpredictable; at times it can be surprising. This may, in fact, surprise you. We are too often seen as beings who know all and say nothing – or very little – but this is not the case. To be spiritually evolved you must live a spiritual life and too much knowledge may be detrimental to this depending on the individual state of mind, the path he chooses to follow and the ultimate goal he sets. Some wise people are very spiritual, others may have the wisdom without the knowledge, and others may have the wisdom but see it as a power to use for their own ends. We all have a certain amount of wisdom and knowledge, which has always been there and which we can tap into – although some on the Earth plane do not do so until they come home to spirit. Yet in order to experience – in order to teach others – we must learn and continue to learn. Those that you call a ‘guide’ must learn, to a certain degree, with you as you journey through life. There are still things to come, which we do not have knowledge of. The difference is that a guide is suited to help you through the journey of life because their knowledge is greater and they are more spiritually advanced. Therefore they do not know it all – just more. It is as on Earth with the Elders passing on wisdom and knowledge to the young; when they pass on their wisdom, it enables the young to ‘advance’ if you will. The young still make mistakes and indeed will make the same mistakes often that the elders made in their turn. The mistakes are necessary for growth. And so it is that your guides as your ‘Elders’ will gently try to steer you in the right direction, and yet do not stop you from making mistakes that you need to make in order to grow and learn and in turn enable the wisdom passed on to grow. Even while the mistakes are made, they will support you and are there when you need them; as the ‘Elder’ they will love you regardless of error and their faith will make you strong.

‘Til we meet again…
