The human body is made up of complicated mechanics - the nervous system, the blood system, the muscular skeleton and the bones. Each operates independently of the others yet they are all part of the whole and part of you. This is the way it occurs with many lifetimes - a part of you separates to live a mortal life for a while and then returns to the whole. So, just as the nerves tell your brain what it is feeling, the small part of the whole reports to the rest the lessons that it has learnt and the experiences that it has encountered. Each part has it's own job to do, as with the mortal body - and each part maintains it's own identity, so that there are many identities within the whole, building up more with each lifetime encountered. Generally the experiences will be very different - no two experiences can, by the nature of it, be exactly alike - yet the experiences in each lifetime trigger to a certain extent - govern, if you will - the next experience to be encountered in the next lifetime. This is not the 'law of Karma' as you would understand it - instead the lessons may not be directly connected to any right or wrongdoing in one lifetime, but instead will be connected more to the stage the soul is at and relevant to it at that time. Any mistakes or wrongdoings are dealt with between-times, and the part that has recently returned will be helped by the remainder of the whole to work through it on it's return. Lessons in the next lifetime may merely support what has already been learnt from such mistakes - illustrating the fact, rather than being separate lessons for their own sake.

'Til we meet again…
