Look at the world through the eyes of a child. At this time of year, there is much excitement and anticipation. This comes from the thrill of the season; everyone is more inclined to give to others and there is more happiness than at other times of the year. Yet if you look beyond the material, past the glamour, glitter and presents that have become the traditional representations of the Christmas period, you will see qualities such as peace; forgiveness; generosity; kindness to fellow man and so on. Yet these qualities are not connected directly to the Christmas period. Mankind has become programmed to switch these qualities on for the Christmas period and off again afterwards as you become once again absorbed in your own lives and your own concerns. Without material distractions and temptations in the media, a child would say that happiness and loving are the most important aspects of Christmas. There are those who truly believe that the joy of Christmas is only for the children - or those with children. Yet the joy is there for all to share; the joy is there because you have found within yourselves the power of the qualities such as love and understanding; reaching out for one another. Think how much joy and happiness there would be if these things were observed every day of the year! There are those who feel that they cannot celebrate Christmas and enjoy it because they 'cannot afford it'. The greatest present to give to one another is love and acceptance. It does not come in a box - it cannot be bought. It costs nothing and yet is priceless. Everyone can afford it - indeed you cannot afford not to give it. There are those who feel that they cannot celebrate Christmas because they have 'lost' a loved one; perhaps this 'loss' occured at this time of year. Yet you have not 'lost' anyone; your loved ones are near and would still wish to celebrate with you. The happiness of the season is there to be absorbed and to give upliftment and those who are here in spirit thrive on happiness and upliftment - they would never wish for tears and mourning, and would not wish you to miss out on the most uplifting time of year, which serves to give you the energy and strength for the next step. We are watching and feel the warmth and love. We wish it would last throughout the year - our work would be more effective and far simpler! So as you prepare for your Christmas time, whether with pleasant anticipation or not, see it through the eyes of a child and the joy, love and peace will be yours. We wish you the peace and happiness of the season for always.

'Til we meet again...
