As the sunlight touches the Earth, you can feel it's warmth and see it's light. Do you not realise that you and the sun have this in common? You are capable of great warmth towards others and as you exude this great warmth so your light can and will shine forth with a brilliance that is beyond your comprehension, but which radiates such beauty that it draws others like a beacon. Our protection is yours at such times, for although darkness and cold are often repelled by the light and warmth it is sometimes the case that those who are drawn to you will not be coming to you with the best of intentions. It may be that they will not set out to cause you harm but in their neediness and their pain when they seek help, they can bring some of the darkness into your midst. Be gentle with such people, but be firm. Give only the help that you feel able to give and no more - just as much as is effective. For if you try to do more than you should, however well-meaning your intentions, you will instead increase their problems as they become reliant on you, and attach themselves to you in ways that will prove to be unhealthy physically and spiritually for all concerned. Your light and your warmth are precious gifts and they are to be shared; for other souls will see this light and warmth within you and will gravitate towards it as is their nature - the nature of the soul is to progress ever more into the light and so other beings of light will be drawn to one another. As long as you keep the love and the warmth in your life and keep your thoughts and words harmonious, loving and wise, your light will grow and shine ever more brightly. Your path in turn will become lighter and your feet will fly on the invisible wings of light and love. Allow the warmth to radiate and your light to shine out, nurturing and protecting yourself and those around you. Feel the peace and the love in your heart and it too will shine out in your light. This way, you too can shine as brightly and as warmly as the sun.
