STRANGERS IN PARADISE - Return to Love
by Linda Fallen
We put barricades up around ourselves
And stand alone, frozen by icy fingers of fear
We hide away from our brothers
When all the time, kindred spirits are near
We are afraid of dying
But perhaps more afraid to live
Is dying easier than living?
As being angry is easier than trying to forgive
We all know our destination
But it feels like a forgotten dream
Man thinks he's outside of Heaven
But all must be well, within the Divine Scheme
Man is reaching out to Heaven all his life
Yet is afraid of the darkest unknown
He feels so very isolated
And sees not the Light of Heaven's Gates when they are shown
This Earth was a Garden of Eden
But we forgot that we reaped what we sowed
We started sowing the seeds of greed
And blocked the Mighty Spirit that flowed
Our bodies grew heavier as we fell into materialism
As the seeds of desire were planted
So we turned away from Immortality
When, by Divine Law, Free Will was granted
Everyone wants to be rescued
Like a condemned man waiting for a pardon
Divine Love WILL liberate all
And we shall return to the Genesis Garden
When a crisis of faith makes you feel abandoned
Remember this can never be so
No longer Strangers in Paradise
Let Love restore what you know.
