The Universal Divine Energy of Life

The stresses
and strains of physical life
The pleasures and the pains
Allow the space for us to grow
Upon the spiritual plane
The hustle and bustle
The busyness of life
No time to relax
Amidst all the strife
We hunt we strive for external desire
If we open our minds and see who we are
Realise there is more than the physical plane
Not just material, there's so much to gain
Tune into your heart, tune into your soul
When we do this, we become a 'whole'
We are but afraid to go deep within
Calm down, relax, it's where to begin
The logical brain confuses the right
The creative side listen with delight
Hear the little voice inside
It whispers. ssh.. it is your guide
Be calm, be still, open up your being
Your heart mind and soul no doubt will be freeing
Find inner peace, joy, happiness and love
Look within - it will fit like a glove!
You can't deny what's true inside
There's nowhere to run, there's nowhere to hide
The truth of it is we are all of spirit
If we could open up and choose to admit it
So many decide to venture not deep
Where our heart and our soul
Gods love does keep
Love and light is all that is
East, West religion all point to this
The Universal Divine Energy of life
Nourishes our soul, lets in the light
