Books

The following are books that I have read and enjoyed. They have also been helpful to me at various stages on my path. If there are any books that you would like to see included here, please e-mail me with the title and a brief description to appear on this page.

'Til We Meet Again - the wisdom of Two Crows

Available from Lulu.com paperback; 152 pages

If you have enjoyed the words of inspiration imparted to me by Two Crows on this website, you may wish to purchase the book from Lulu. I was drawn, by Two Crows, quite some time ago to start compiling his words into a book in order to share them more widely with those that might wish to read them. The aim of the book is to provide a little of the guidance, peace and comfort that can be found in Two Crows' words of wisdom - therefore this book is not being published for profit; the price simply covers printing costs.

We hope that you will enjoy it.

Contacting the Spirit World

Contacting The Spirit World by Linda Williamson

Available from Piatkus Books; paperback; 176 pages

This book is written in two parts. The first part, entitled 'Spontaneous Contact with the Spirit World' deals with the issues around sittings; what happens when one goes to see a medium, for example. It also effectively outlines and explains the 'mechanics' of spirit communication and covers issues such as Near-Death Experience; the various planes of existence; Out of Body experiences etc. The second part, entitled 'Developing Your Ability As A Medium' describes what it is to be a medium; what your principles should be; and how to begin developing your abilities. It describes different aspects of mediumship in clear and concise ways and includes development exercises that can be tried either alone or within a group situation.

One Last Time

One Last Time by John Edward

Available from Piatkus Books; paperback; 220 pages

Many may recognise John Edward's name from the television and media and this is his autobiography. This is a touching self-portrait of John, as he describes the people that he meets and the situations he finds himself in during the course of his work and through his dedication to giving the relatives of those who have passed on the chance to speak to their loved ones 'one last time'. If you are interested in mediumship whether developing, practicing or not; or if you have lost a loved one, then I would recommend that you read this book. After all, we can all learn a lot from the experiences of those who have been there already.

Seth Speaks

Seth Speaks by Jane Roberts

Available from New World Library; paperback; 426 pages

This is one of many Seth books by Jane Roberts. Seth, a metaphysical teacher, has dictated the books through the trance medium Jane Roberts. This book deals with many aspects of everyday living and puts a different perspective on many issues within our lives. His purpose is to unlock the potential that is already in each and every one of us by altering our perspectives of what we are and who we are, and our place in the grand scheme of things. Consciousness, intuition, death and reincarnation are just some of the topics about which Seth speaks.

Principles of Spiritualism

Thorsons Principles of Spiritualism

by Lyn G. De Swarte

Available from Thorsons publishing; paperback; 109 pages

Written in a clear, concise way, without being patronising, this book covers every aspect of Spiritualism from its history, beginning in 1848 when the movement was founded, right through to Spiritualism in the 21st century. It explains the many types of mediumship and other aspects of spiritualism (for example, spirit photography) and includes information about Spiritual Healing. This book contains sound advice for any aspiring healers and mediums, and I would recommend that anyone who is hoping to train, already in training, or has an interest in Spiritualism should read this book.

What Dreams May Come by Richard Matheson

What Dreams May Come

by Richard Matheson

Published by Tor Books; paperback; 278 pages

A wonderful book, which I would highly recommend for anyone interested in spiritual beliefs; reincarnation (touched upon briefly); Karma; the different realms of spirit and many, many more aspects. The author states that the only fiction within the book are the characters themselves and their relationship to each other. The rest of the book is based on much research into the spectrum of beliefs that make us who we are. This book will captivate it's reader and everyone who reads it will join the main character, Chris, on his quest to save his wife, Annie, from the depths of her own hell - proving ultimately that love really does conquer all. This book gives incredible insight to the world of spirit and illustrates beautifully the survival of death.

Everyone will find their own answers within these covers and it has significance and relevance to all; whatever spiritual beliefs are held and to those from all walks of life. A journey well shared.
